Palo Alto, California prides itself on being a highly walkable community and its charming streets and leafy boulevards offer pedestrians a treat. In a place where the median household income is more than twice the national figure, you’d expect some great shopping. You would be right. Stanford Shopping Center, home to Tiffany’s and Bloomingdales, is a big draw; more than one-quarter of its visitors are from foreign countries, here for business or pleasure. Downtown Palo Alto is a mecca for those looking for the boutique-and-gallery experience and is within easy walking distance of the Stanford campus. Another hot spot for shopping is California Avenue, where the tone is set by the funky public art lining the street. Town and Country Village and the Midtown area are favorites of local residents. Upscale restaurants such as Il Fornaio are dining options, as are the charming bistros amidst the galleries and boutiques on University and California avenues. Bring the kids along. Palo Alto’s renown Children’s Theatre and Junior Museum and Zoo have exciting performances and activities for all ages. There is always something new to see, so please visit often.
As for the game, we do have ideas to help make this game more interesting than just a typical town game! We are considering something like a buddy system, town events as well as a secrets community with a fun post secret type theme. Please read the rules before joining us! We are hoping this game is treated as a real community game! We hope to avoid cliques and will always be looking for opportunities to for everyone to interact with everyone. Hopefully if everyone has this attitude, this can be a fun game for everyone that joins. As for doubts on mod participation - we will be here as long as you are as we are not into just abandoning our games.

This game is a basic played by game so we're definitely planning on upholding the basic played by rules. First off, we expect you to not cross any in character vs. in character lines. This is a roleplaying game - not a real life drama fest. Save the wank for your own game. Characters should be out of high school. They can be college students but anyone younger than that is not allowed here. There are plenty of high school games for that! Character journals should be in character with no underscores or numbers - names only please. Aim is required and screennames have to be in character as well. No excessive use of the letter x or numbers please. Activity is obviously important and we require a journal or thread/log update at least once every three weeks. You must post a character introduction within 2 days of being accepted or you'll be removed automatically. Any questions or concerns you may have should be directed toward the drop box where all comments are screened. Please avoid pming the mods as we can't guarantee we'll get those due to the fact they're so unreliable.

Please place your hold request here. Challenges are being allowed but don't go crazy! If for some reason you feel the need to place an anonymous hold that's fine but you must return within a few hours or so with a journal or we'll remove your hold asap. No first entry required here. Yes, we're doing what ~lakeville did because we felt this could be a good thing. Obviously we think it's best if you know what your character is like when you join the game but having a bio/facts written up is not necessary - just a friends only post. Make sure you're coming in with a few lines as well to get you started!
